  1. In a large saucepan, add some water and allow it to boil

  3. In a medium saucepan, heat some butter and stir in the flour and mustard powder

  1. Start by heating the oven to 200 degree Celsius and place a baking sheet on the middle shelf
  2. Butter the soufflé bowl and sprinkle some breadcrumbs and rotate the dish to ensure the butter is evenly coated
  3. Tip out the excess breadcrumbs
  4. In a medium pan, melt the butter over medium heat and stir in the flour and mustard continuously for 1 min before taking off the heat
  5. Gradually pour in the milk in parts  and mix thoroughly until it thickens
  6. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and allow it to cool
  7. In a small bowl, crack the eggs and separate the yolk and the whites
  8. Now, beat the egg whites using a clean whisk until peaks form
  9. Then take a metal spoon and gently stir the whipped whites into the white sauce
  10. Spoon the mixture into the dish and run a cutlery knife around the edge to give the souffle a good shape
  11. Place the souffle on the baking sheet and bake for 25-30 mins until the top is golden and risen
