Ingredients
- 1 cup Healthy Alternatives Forest Elephant Rice
- 1 cup Healthy Alternatives Brown Rice
- ½ cup Healthy Alternatives Urad dal
- ½ tsp Healthy Alternatives Fenugreek seeds Salt
- Water
Preparation:
1.Wash and soak the Forest Elephant Rice and whole Urad dal with fenugreek seeds separately for atleast 4 hours.
2.Grind as bit coarse slightly as thick batter with enough water in a grinder.
3.Add enough salt, mix well and keep it for fermentation overnight.
4.The next day while making idli, give a stir to the fermented batter.
5.Pour enough fermented idli batter to the greased idli plates and cook in idli cooker for 10-15 minutes.
6.Serve healthy idli with any sort of spicy chutneys or sambar.
