Prepare Vegan Cheesy Blast During Snack Time

If you have recently turned vegan, we have something to satisfy your cheesy cravings! These vegan cheese recipes are going to blow your mind and make you fall in love with a different kind of cheese. Read on to prepare cheesy blast during the snack time at the comfort of your home.

  1. Dairy-free Vegan Cheese Chilli Toast

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Firstly, in a large mixing bowl, mix the cheese, capsicum, garlic and jalapeno pieces 
  2. Now, season with pepper and salt
  3. Mix well making sure to combine altogether and keep it aside 
  4. Now, spread the butter on the bread slice
  5. Further, toast the butter side till it turns golden and crisp
  6. Remove the bread slice from the pan and cut into half
  7. Now, top the bread slice with the cheese mixture
  8. Place the topped bread and cover with a lid and allow to cook on low flame till the cheese melts completely
  9. Alternatively, you can bake in the oven at 250-degree celsius for about 5-8 minutes
  10. Once the cheese melts, it is ready to serve
  11. Finally, serve cheese chilli toast hot with chilli flakes and oregano on top.

2. Mayonnaise Vegan Cheese Sandwich

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Firstly, in a bowl mix ½ carrot, 2 tbsp cabbage, 2 tbsp capsicum, ½ tomato and ½ onion
  2. Now, add ½ tsp pepper powder and ¼ tsp salt
  3. Add in the eggless mayonnaise and mix well 
  4. Prepare the bread by applying some butter and green chutney on both the sides 
  5. Now top the bread with prepared mayonnaise stuffing and add tomato sauce
  6. To prepare a double layer sandwich, place the layer one above the other
  7. Cover with a slice of bread and make sure to spread butter and green chutney on the bread slice
  8. Grill the bread until it is golden brown and toasty 
  9. Now, cut the sandwich to half and top with grated cheese
  10. Finally, enjoy mayonnaise cheese sandwich along with some hot tea!

3. Paneer Cheese Cutlet

Ingredients:

Instructions:

  1. Take 1 cup grated paneer in a mixing bowl and add in the cheese
  2. Then add 1 green chilli (finely chopped) and 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves 
  3. You can then add a pinch of black pepper instead of green chillies
  4. Add a pinch of garam masala powder and salt as required. Do add less salt as cheese also has some salt in it. Later after mixing you can always add more salt if required
  5. Now, add the breadcrumbs and mix well 
  6. Next shape the mixture into cutlets or Tikki
  7. You can make large-sized cutlets or medium-sized as you like 
  8. In a small plate, take 2 tablespoons rice flour and place each cutlet into the flour and coat it evenly

To fry the tikkas:

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan or a shallow frying pan
  2. When the oil becomes medium hot, dust the excess rice flour and place the paneer cheese cutlets in the oil
  3. Pan fry them on a medium flame and when the base is golden then flip the paneer tikkas
  4. Be gentle when flipping as these are light and can break, you can use a butter knife for gently flipping 
  5. Fry the second side also till crisp and golden don’t turn over the cutlets more than thrice 
  6. Once done, place the paneer cutlet which is fried and done on a kitchen paper towel
  7. Serve paneer cheese cutlet hot or warm with coriander chutney, tomato ketchup or a yoghurt dip.
