There is just something about fried food that is universally appealing. People experiment with food in so many ways, but lately, the fad of experimentation with fried food has taken on a life of its own. While fried food tastes amazing as a whole, we have come up with a couple of dishes that really stand out! - Fried Apple Fritters
This dish really gives out the doughnut energy and vibe! While they may be deep-fried, they are soft and pillowy in texture while also maintaining their interesting and unique taste.

Ingredients:
- 1 kg apples peeled and chopped into small pieces
- 2 tbsp. lemon juice
- 3 tbsp. unsalted butter
- 2 tbsp. cinnamon powder
- ¼ cup sugar granulated
- ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
- 1 packet doughnut premix
- 1 ½ cup powdered sugar
- 4 tbsp. milk
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
Instructions for filing:
- Add the apples and juiced lemon to an ice-filled bowl and refrigerate overnight. This will keep them from browning
- Heat the butter in a pan on a medium-high flame till it melts and turns brown
- Drain the apples and transfer them to the pan
- Sprinkle granulated sugar and cinnamon powder. Cook till it turns soft and tender
- Set it aside to cool down
Instruction for glaze:
- Heat the powdered sugar in a small saucepan till it turns brown
- Add the milk and vanilla extract to the pan. Stir it well till the mixture becomes smooth
- Set it aside while you prepare the fritters
Instruction for fritters:
- Roll the premix dough onto a floured surface and cut the dough into small rectangles as per your choice
- Fill the dough with the apple mixture and close it into small shells
- Heat a pot to 360 degrees F and add oil up to 6-7 inches of the vessel
- Carefully lower 3-4 fritters in one go and fry for 30-60 seconds till they turn golden and crisp
- Remove the fritters from the deep fryer and place them in a kitchen paper to drain the excess oil
- After the fritters have cooled down, brush them over with the glaze and serve immediately!
2. Deep-Fried Cheesecake
Your dessert can be served hot and crunchy now! This dish is famous in America and is usually served during carnivals and fairs but you can now make it at home!

Ingredients:
- 200g softened cream cheese
- 3 cups of sugar
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
- ½ cup cracker crumbs
- ½ kg of strawberries
- 2 tbsp. juiced lemon
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- ¼ tsp. kosher salt
- 1 cup whole milk
Instructions for cheesecake mixture:
- Add the cream cheese to a food processor and blend it till it becomes smooth
- Add ¼ cup sugar, vanilla extract and cracker crumbs into the blender and mix it well with the cheese
- Scoop 1 spoon of the cheesecake mixture and place it on a tray. Keep the tray inside the fridge for 30 minutes to freeze the mixture
Instructions for the strawberry sauce:
- Combine the strawberries, 1 cup of sugar and the juiced lemon in a saucepan. Stir for 5-7 minutes till the sugar dissolves and the berries begin to break down
- Transfer the mixture into a food blender and make a puree till it is smooth
- Remove the seeds from the puree and keep it aside

- In a medium-sized bowl, add the flour, remaining sugar, baking powder and salt. Whisk it till there are no lumps
Instructions for Deep Fried Cheesecake:
- Heat a pot with 2 inches of vegetable oil in it
- Remove the cheesecake mixture from the fridge
- Dip the cheesecake balls in the batter coating it completely and carefully inserts it in the oil
- Fry it for 2-3 minutes till it turns golden brown
- Remove the balls from the oil and drain on the kitchen towels
- Place the balls on a platter and drizzle the strawberry sauce on top. Your dish is now ready to be served!
