  1. Coconut Cake

  1. To prepare the cake, preheat the oven to 350 degrees Celsius and grease the cake pan with butter
  2. Now, line the bottom of the cake pan with parchment paper
  3. In a large mixing bowl, sift the flour, baking powder, salt and mix it well
  4. In the mixing bowl of an electric mixer, blend the butter, sugar, canola oil on medium speed until well combined
  5. Now, add in the egg yolks one at a time and mix until combined after each addition
  6. Now, stir in the coconut and vanilla extracts
  7. Pour in half of the coconut milk and mix well
  8. In a separate mixing bowl, whip 6 egg whites with the cream of tartar on medium speed until stiff peaks are formed
  9. Now, using a spatula carefully fold the egg white mixture into the cake mixture
  10. Spread the cake batter in the lined cake pan
  11. Set it in the preheated oven for 20-25 mins
  12. Once done, allow it to cool for an additional 10 minutes and run a knife along the edges of the cake
  13. Now, flip it upside down. Spread some of the coconut cheese frosting on top of it and serve!

2. Butter Cookies

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the butter and white sugar until light and fluffy
  2. Now, beat in the egg, and stir in the vanilla extract
  3. Combine the flour and salt; stir into the sugar mixture
  4. Cover the dough, and chill for at least one hour
  5. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Press the dough out onto ungreased, chilled cookie sheets
  6. Bake for 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until lightly golden at the edges
  7. Remove from the cookie sheets to cool on the wire racks.

3. Cinnamon Rolls

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius
  2. Now, brush a 9-inch square baking dish with 2 tablespoons melted butter
  3. Whisk the flour with 2 tablespoons white sugar, baking powder, and salt together in a large bowl
  4. Work 3 tablespoons softened butter into flour mixture using your hands
  5. Now, beat the milk and egg together in another bowl; pour into the flour-butter mixture and stir with a rubber spatula until a soft dough forms
  6. Turn dough out onto a floured work surface and roll dough into a 1/4-inch thick rectangle
  7. Brush the surface of the dough with 2 tablespoons melted butter
  8. Whisk 1/2 cup white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon together in a small bowl
  9. Sprinkle 1/2 of the cinnamon-sugar mixture in the bottom of the prepared baking dish
  10. Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar over butter-brushed dough
  11. Roll the dough around filling to form a log; cut log into 18 rolls and place rolls in the prepared baking dish
  12. Bake in the preheated oven until rolls are set, 20 to 25 minutes
  13. Beat confectioners’ sugar, cream cheese, 1/4 cup softened butter, and vanilla extract together in a bowl until frosting is smooth
  14. Top hot cinnamon rolls with cream cheese frosting.
